9.18
15 years ago, I was sobbing my eyes out because I had to leave my friends and my life in Hong Kong.
15 years later…
Well, I think I still miss my friends and relatives in Hong Kong very much.
But I feel more like a Singaporean now, with a new life and new social circles and learning alot here.
I’ve met wonderful people and learn through my mistakes along the way.
I think these 15 years was a good learning journey personally in all aspects of my life.
I believe things happened for a reason, so Thank You for the 9.18 that happened 15 years ago.
It has become a tradition to “celebrate” this date with my family, funny as it sounds.
I think it has become more important than to celebrate new year or christmas together in fact.
so Happy 918 to everyone !

I’m somewhat the opposite. I’ve lived in HK nearly two years & am moving back to Singapore soon (in which I’ve lived about 6yrs prior to coming here), and I know I’m going to miss Hong Kong a helluva lot.

@david hey there ! sorry for the extremely late reply, must have missed your comment ! anyways, i pretty much love staying in Singapore but HK food and lifestyle is definitely more exciting as compared to here ! =)
