Who: Fresh Grad from Singapore Management University, majoring in Sociology, Organizational Behavior and Human Resources (OBHR). International student at Beijing Normal University, Master Programme in Comparative Education. Youngest of the 2 daughters at home , I was born in 
Hong Kong on 11th November 1986. Well, I would call 
Singapore my home, now that I have been in this fine country since 18th September 1994. (and I do speak Cantonese at home!)
Education Background: I attended kindergarden at St Margaret’s Church followed by 2 years of primary school life in St Paul’s Primary Catholic School (Hong Kong). In my next 9 years of education, I had the most memorable primary and secondary school life in Singapore. Moving on, I had 3 awesome years of designer life during my polytechnic days, I am now a proud diploma holder in Interactive Media Design (Major in Web Design/Video). Graduated in 2011 from SMU with my degree in Social Sciences. Currently over the great firewall in Beijing, enjoying my masters program (fear not, it’s in English!) and brand new life in a different country.
Random Facts :
- Being a design enthusiast, I can spend hours reading design tutorials/books without getting bored.
- “MYY” is actually the initials of my cantonese nickname given by my elder sister
- I play the Guzheng since the age of 9 and performed solo in Esplanade when I was 16.
- I am an internet addict. It is rare for me to not be online for a day.
- I wake up to tweets, facebook alerts – apart from the fact I like to snooze my alarm (x5).
- I sneeze nonstop when I drink Coke, but I like Coke Light.
- I have 9 stitches on my head which was my 6th “birthday present”
- I can bake and cook even though I don’t seem to be very feminine.
- I like being geeky at times. I read PC magazines and surf the net for cool gadgets/softwares.
- I love SMU Broadcast & Entertainment (SMUBE) – currently active in PR, Marketing, Campus Radio
- I love all sorts of films – best if Johnny Depp is in it ! *fangirl mode*
- I enjoy the fun of being a communication workshop trainer to Pri-JC students..love it!

Site: Been keeping online journals since primary school, from the “Geocities era” to Bravenet, Diaryland, Deadjournal etc to livejournal and tumblr (which is still active). As much as I enjoy designing websites, I think writing is a wonderful form of therapy. This journal’s main objective is to keep track of my university journey and reflecting on my everyday life.
