AOTW [14] : Jason Derulo
I was chatting with the boyfriend yesterday about how Imogen Heap‘s “Hide and Seek” is a really good song, legendary in fact ! It’s so good that the song has tons of covers and Jason Derulo has a remix version of it, well in a way it’s considered remix to me, called “Whatcha Say”.
Despite being a ’88 baby, he’s doing really well in his songwriting-singing career ! Typical Pop/R&B/Hip Hop music that is always high in demand in the market. I thought his remix version of “Hide and Seek” was not too bad but I prefer the original by Imogen Heap of course ! What do you think ? (It’s #10 on the billboard chart by the way!)

The week has been rather busy for me, sorry about the delay….here’s the second artiste of the week !
I came across the song some weeks ago while surfing youtube. I’m not a huge fan of R&B but I found the lyrics really sweet, no matter how cheesy it is.
So I went to google on Johnta Austin and found that he’s actually a four-time Grammy Award-winning upcoming artist ! Not only that, he was also the co-writer of Mariah Carey’s “We Belong Together” as well as Mary J Blige’s “Be Without You” ! Talented artist/writer I must agree, at least I could feel the emotions in his songs/lyrics.
This gotta be one of my recent favourite on my playlist. Really sweet song =) Enjoy !
